Laser Machining Hypotubes
At Pulse Systems we are focused on Laser Machining of Hypo tubes for the medical device industry utilizing ND:YAG lasers. We provide precision laser machining and precision laser cutting in hypotube materials including: Stainless Steel, Nitinol, Tantalum, Chromium Cobalt and tri-layer. We pride ourselves on quick turn prototype to commercial volume production of stents and other medical device applications in hypotubes from .020" to .300" in diameter. We have expertise in developing secondary processes including grit blasting laser welding and electropolishing of nitinol, chromium cobalt alloys and stainless steel.
